“As a painter I have explored various styles, subject matter and mediums, but the natural world has always been my primary inspiration. My art practice is, broadly speaking, an investigation of the western Canadian landscape, but I am also fascinated by exploring natural symbolism and themes using ‘primitive’ motifs and patterns that I have developed and experimented with for years.”
