Vibrant colours, strength and simplified bold shapes describe the artwork of West Coast artist Tina Flux. Her graphic style showcases the beauty and strength found within landscapes and leaves a strong impact on viewers. Every brush stroke has a purpose. She works with acrylic on canvas.
Tina is a proud British Columbian. She grew up on the Sunshine Coast and once again enjoys the coast life after living in Vancouver, South Korea and Calgary. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and has taken numerous art classes at the Alberta College of Art and Design. She has an extensive background in photography and lives in Gibsons with her husband and daughter.
As a child, she remembers her parent’s house full of her grandmother’s art work. She remembers carefully looking at the brushtrokes of the thick impasto oil paint on each painting and wondering how she managed to create such masterpieces. Tina keeps these treasured memories in a special place in her heart.
